Fantastic New Family Activities at Los Jameos Playa

OCTOBER HALF TERM WEEK SPECIAL - SAVINGS of £250 per child

Seaside Hotels’ Lanzarote property, Los Jameos Playa, has got together with UK-based company, Mange Tout, to develop fun foodie classes for children during the October school half term. The classes are valued at £250 per child* and will run from October 25th – 29th 2010. Seaside is offering this activity for children aged 4-8 in its kids club during half term – at absolutely no extra cost. It is the perfect break for families looking for more than a traditional kids club, and those who value the health and wellbeing of their children.

The hotel company has always placed a great importance on offering quality, fresh food. Commissioning Mange Tout to develop an exclusive programme is an extension of Seaside’s philosophy; both organisations believe finding fun in food will encourage children to be excited about fruit, vegetables and healthy eating.

Every week day during October half term there will be four activity sessions for 4-6 year olds and 7-8 year olds. Each day will be colour themed and focus on different fruits and vegetables, with a variety of activities including cookery, arts and craft, games and songs. This will become a regular half term activity for Los Jameos Playa, and may extend to the other Seaside Hotels in the Canary Islands.

Los Jameos Playa is located within a short walking distance of the popular resort of Puerto del Carmen and alongside the picturesque beach of Los Pocillos. It is home to the Peter Burwash International tennis school which boasts the best facilities on the island. In addition there are many other sports facilities, swimming pools and also a Spa and Wellness Centre. The hotel is also renowned for the highest quality cuisine.
