Take your family on a self catering holiday to France and your children will have a wonderful time.

Try a mobile home holiday on one of the 4* or 5* campsites that Matthews Holidays operate on. Most of them are within a very short walk of the beach. During July and August the campsites organise free activities for the children, free evening entertainment and at all times have wonderful waterparks with challenging waterslides. Lots to keep the children amused all day. Most families drive to their resort, so that you can pack the car with everything you need. There are campsites close by in Brittany, and also in the Vendee, Charente Maritime and Aquitaine.

The mobile homes have two bedrooms and will sleep up to six people, so ideal for families. Each has a living area, dinette, fully equipped kitchenette and shower room with wc. Matthews Holidays have their own English speaking staff on each campsite.

You have a choice of crossings to France to choose from, out of Plymouth, Poole, Portsmouth, Dover or Folkestone. Matthews Holidays have special rates on these sailings which they use when pricing your holiday.

They will also discuss the ferry crossings with you. They will then give you a complete price for your holiday and can book your crossing to France at the same time.

Prices start at £396 per family for a week at the beginning of June, when the children are off school, £919 per family for a week starting 24th July 2012 and only £695 for a week starting 24th August. These prices include a return ferry crossing from Dover to Calais and if you book before the end of January there is a discount of 10% off these prices.
