AWARD-WINNING CORNISH CAMPSITE LAUNCHES 10% SAVINGS

Trevella Park (www.trevella.co.uk, 01637 830 308), the award-winning five-star campsite in Crantock, Cornwall, has launched 10% savings on all holidays booked before 29 February.

The discount means that summer holidays for families start from only £448 for mobile home stays (seven nights from 25 August staying in an Original two bedroom home, saving £49).

Touring caravan breaks start from as little as £235 when booked before 29 February (seven nights from 25 August on a standard pitch with electric hook up for two adults and two children, saving £26).

Trevella is an independently run holiday park tucked into the north Cornwall countryside close to Newquay. Crantock, the nearest town, has pretty Cornish cottages, a Norman church, ancient inns and a magnificent sandy beach that doesn’t attract the Newquay crowds.

The park has its own heated outdoor pool, adventure playground, large fishing lakes and nature trails, but steers away from kid’s clubs and discos.

Small kids can plant seeds in the vegetable patch and meet the cockatiels, rabbits and owl at pets’ corner. The park, which has been awarded a David Bellamy Gold Conservation award for 14 consecutive years, runs nature-spotting challenges for older children.

Tradition meets 21st century gadgetry with a range of holiday homes that come with ready-made beds, television and kitchen kitted out for self-catering, plus luxury models that include iPod docking stations and digital radio.

Touring caravan facilities include pitches with water connections, electricity hook-ups and drainage and there are two recently refurbished toilet blocks.

In the area there is surfing, boogie boards, waterskiing and wakeboarding to try, and the Trevella Park team can help book lessons.

Close by is the South West Coastal Path with cliff-top walks between Newquay and Perranporth offering sights of sharks, seals and seabirds and running past iron age remains, hidden beaches and cosy pubs.

For more information and to book go to www.trevella.co.uk or call 01637 830 308.
