NINTENDOGS – BREEDING NEW SUCCESS FOR 2007

Last autumn saw the launch of Nintendogs plush, a range of soft and loveable ‘dogs’ based on the hugely successful Nintendo DS game.

Sales of the Nintendogs rocketed, quickly becoming a sellout and a must-have toy for Christmas.

There were two ranges to choose from:

Trick Trainer Pups, priced at £9.99

Interactive Play Pups, priced at £24.99

This year, Tomy is building on the success of the last few months and is launching two exciting new ranges to the Nintendogs category:

Nintendog Bean Toys

Sure to be one of the hottest toys this spring, Nintendog Bean Toys are a super-cute litter of twelve soft pups which bark, growl and whine when you press their left ear.  They will retail at £5.99 (GRP) each.

Nintendogs Dressables (£17.99 GRP)

For the ultimate pampered pooch, you can even accessorise your pup, just like the Nintendogs game, with the brand new Nintendogs Dressables.  There are four different outfits to choose from:

- Dalmation and Fireman

- Golden Retriever and Diva

- Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Cowgirl

- Yorkshire Terrier and Princess

Each Dressable comes in a funky mini kennel that you can carry around just like Hollywood starlets Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie!  Each kennel comes equipped with eight fun accessories, including hats, t-shirts and glasses, plus a surprise gift.  There is even a pocket to store your Nintendo DS console.

The Dressables will be available this summer.

Tomy will also add nine new breeds to the popular Nintendogs Trick Trainer Pups, including the Jack Russell Terrier, Dalmation and Pug.  The Interactive Play Pup lines will also be extended to include favourites like the Golden Retriever and Labrador.
