New miYim Organic Plush Toys - Review

Baby Sleep Shop have introduced 5 beautiful plush organic toys from miYim;

Andrew Hippo, Victoria Rabbit, Fred Monkey, Annabelle Petite Lamb and Fred
Petitie Monkey.

The What To Do With The Kids team were really interested to find out more about the MiYim organic toy range and we especially liked the idea that these 'green' toys can be used to teach children about protecting the environment right from the early stages.

The toys are made and filled with natural unprocessed, untreated, and unbleached cotton and are coloured with their PureWaterWashTM process using only plants and minerals, making them a safe alternative to toys made with environmentally damaging processes.

We invited What To Do With The Kids reviewers Caroline Clark and Charlotte, aged 22 months, to take a look at Fred Storybook Brown Monkey (pictured).

Here is what they had to say...

Fred Monkey is a nice-looking toy (some monkeys are quite ugly/scary!) and he is nice and light - easy for little children to pick up and carry. He is good quality and well made, and his organic plush fur is very soft.

Fred monkey is above average price for this kind of toy, however this probably reflects the specialist process and materials required to make him.

Charlotte is too young to provide comments herself - however she seems very happy with Fred Monkey and she has given him pride of place in her cot!

Overall, Fred monkey is a toy that I would recommend to other families, and I would rate him 4/5.
