Peculiar Happenings atRipley’s London

Courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, an eclectic curation of costumes, props and fantastic facts from Tim Burton’s cinematic fantasy movie ‘MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN’ will become the newest ‘unbelievable’ exhibition to grace the floors of Ripley’s London.

From Tuesday 6th February until Sunday 5th March guests can witness in person an exciting collection of genuine items created for Tim Burton’s genius adaptation of Ransom Riggs’ worldwide best-selling novel which features some of the biggest names in Hollywood like Eva Green, Rupert Everett, Terence Stamp and Judi Dench! See outfits worn by the stars, including a dress for Eva Green, who played Miss Peregrine as well the peculiarly incredible Perpetual Calendar, Miss Peregrine’s Birdcage, Enoch’s Heart in a Jar and Barron’s (Samuel L. Jackson’s) snack of choice…. eyeballs!

The arrival of the exhibit at Ripley’s coincides with the launch of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children on Blu-ray™, Blu-ray 3D, 4K Ultra HD and DVD which features special treats like never seen before footage of the cast, an in-depth exploration of the characters and rare sketches by Tim Burton

“It’s a privilege to bring to life some of the fantastical world of mystery, power and peculiarity of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,” says Luke Reilly, the Head of Sales and Marketing Ripley's Believe It or Not! London

Inquisitive minds will love the all-new 'Peculiar Explorer Trail' featuring ‘peculiar’ themed questions; guests simply collect the clues to spell a mystery word... and all those with the correct word can enter it online for their chance to win an amazing trip to Amsterdam for four, including flights, accommodation, a stay in a Peculiar hotel and of course, entry to Ripley's Amsterdam!

Besides the fantastical new exhibit, there are five floors of unbelievable artefacts which will appeal to the biggest and littlest kids. From life-size models of the tallest and smallest men, to a section of the Berlin wall, there’s art made from cassette tapes and stuffed five-legged cows and real shrunken-heads – from the sublime to the ridiculous – it’s amazing stuff from start to finish.

Here’s to a Peculiar family day out that’s guaranteed to be out of the ordinary!
