St Ives, Cornwall
St Ives Bay actually consists of three beaches, Portmeor, Porthgwidden and Porthminster, together stretching over 50-miles of beautiful sand. This bay is perfect for any water sport loving families, with facilities for body boarding, paddle boarding and several water sports schools that offer equipment hire. You’ll be spoilt for choice at this bay.
While this beach may offer fewer facilities for families, it makes up for it with stunning scenery and a four-mile stretch of golden sand. New Quay, Wales
Harbour beach in New Quay has great facilities and therefore is the perfect option for families with toddlers and pushchairs. Spend the day exploring the stunning coastline of Ceredigion and Cardigan Bay by boat or by foot.
Another great beach in New Quay is Tolcarne. Privately owned, but accessible by steps or road, this beach has a café on the sea front, beach huts you can rent out and good toilet facilities.
