There are plenty of hands-on interactives across the Museum, where you can learn about the evolution of communications or find out how electricity is made. Explore a collection of over 25 vintage vehicles across the site – there is even a bus over 100 years old!
There is a narrow-gauge railway and bus service which visitors can ride on every day the Museum is open, all included in the general admission. The train rides are a favourite for children!
The Museum runs special activities and trails for children during school half terms and school holidays.
There is a playground with swings and other equipment next to the Café, with plenty of areas for the children to run around.
Baby Changing is available and most of the site is accessible for buggies.
