Four Nations Knights Tournament at Arundel Castle

20th - 21st June 2020


See knights competing for the attention of the Earl of Arundel as the 15th century comes alive! Knights representing England, France, Poland and The Holy Roman Empire will face each other in a fearsome foot tournament as well as archery and artillery contests.

Three tented encampments will include a variety of historical crafts, falconry, a storyteller, have-a-go archery and mini catapults. It’s the ideal summer family day out that promises to thrill and inspire minds of all ages!

10am: Castle and event opens

10am-1pm Have-a-go archery and mini catapults

10am Weapons training

11am Storyteller

11.30am Medieval artillery demonstration

12pm Knights foot tournament

12.30pm Falconry

1pm Storyteller

2pm Archery and gunners competition

2-4pm Have-a-go archery and mini catapults

2.30pm Falconry

3pm Storyteller

330pm Knights Foot Tournament

430pm Event closes

Have-a-go archery suitable for over 8s only, height restrictions may apply.

NOTE: There will be loud noise and sound of cannon fire.
