Borde Hill Garden

Overview

Great Adventure Playground, open spaces for picnics and Woodland Walks.

One of several world-class gardens in the rural Sussex Weald, this tranquil and magnificently sited garden hosts rare trees and shrubs mostly gathered on worldwide plant expeditions.

New planting throughout its distinctive rooms accentuate elegance and colour of the Italian Garden, Paradise Walk and sub-tropical Round Dell.

The expansion of its well acclaimed Rose Garden with David Austin roses to include new Gold Standard rose beds have created two glorious mix borders designed by Charles Quest-Ritson and Dr Tony Lord.

A Grade ll* listed Garden, set in 200 acres of spectacular Parkland and Woodland offers; early spring flowering bulbs, renowned collection of magnolias, camellias, rhododendrons and azaleas give way to summer borders of roses and herbaceous plants, followed by an autumnal blaze.
