Curious About Henley on Thames
Have fun discovering Henley on Thames with two self-guided, heritage walks with an optional treasure hunt.
A Curious About walk is a fun and social activity for all the family and friends. Different people can take on different roles - follow the map, identify picture clues, read directions, etc - it's ideal for children from the age of 6, and if you can walk/wheelchair it, you're young enough!
Henley-on-Thames is a 12th century South Oxfordshire town whose fame emanates from the River Thames on which it sits. Host to the 1st Oxford v Cambridge university boat race, it now throws a fortnight-long party each year, around the world's greatest rowing regatta. Add a superb river and rowing museum, a music and arts festival, parks to stroll through, over 300 buildings of architectural or historical importance, and you'll hardly have time to linger in the vast array of restaurants, cafés and pubs!
