Temple Newsam Home Farm
Many large estates had a 'home' farm that was centrally situated, Temple Newsam is no exception. The 'Home Farm' was more than just a farm, it was also the centre of the estate for many other operations. A combination of modern and traditional farm buildings and cobbled yards currently house a variety of Rare Breed livestock with some of the rarest animals in the world, including cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry, as well as a comprehensive collection of farm machinery from vintage to modern. A great attraction for all.
