The Helicopter Museum

Overview

The Helicopter Museum is the largest dedicated Rotorcraft Collection in the world - with around 80 displayed Helicopters and Gyrocopters. The collection includes two aircraft of the Queen's Royal Flight, the World Speed Record Holder G-Lynx and the Vietnam Veteran Helicopters.

Explore local aviation in the Weston Aviation Exhibition situation in Weston Airport's newly restored control tower and pilots' block at the museum.

Take to the skies and discover the wonder of flight with activities including our Film Theatre, Interactive Zone and real helicopter play area! Plus regular events such as Open Cockpit Days & Helicopter Experience Flights.

Annual Events include Drone Show, Flight Simulator Convention, World at War Weekend, Stars of Time Sci-Fi Show, Spotters’ Weekends, 'Birds & Bubbles' plus Halloween & Christmas Family Fun Days, Classic Bus Rally and Battle Re-enactments! Visit our website for a full list.
