Easter at the Museum at Weald & Downland Living Museum

Overview

The Museum is a wonderful place to visit at Easter. From their traditional Easter weekend to family-friendly Easter activities – there’s something for everyone!

With the longer days and warmer weather can be enjoyed against the stunning backdrop of the 40-acre site in the South Downs National Park.

Activities run from Saturday 4 – Sunday 19 April 2020. Try craft activities and play traditional games. You can also see our heavy horses, as well as Southdown lambs, sheep and other traditional farm animals.

EASTER AT THE MUSEUM AND THE EASTER BAKE

From Good Friday 10 – Easter Monday 13 April 2020 visitors can experience traditional Easter preparations and celebrations, which begin with the traditional Good Friday bake in Winkhurst Tudor kitchen.

Activities vary each daily and include egg painting, bonnet making and an Easter bonnet parade in the Market Square on Easter Monday.
