Make & Do - The Floraphone at Woodhorn Museum

22nd July - 22nd September 2019

Overview

Our historic Colliery Cage Shop (and former Tanky Engine Shed) will be playfully transformed into a family friendly creative space this summer.

‘The Floraphone’, by Bethan Maddocks is inspired by the museum’s Milburn Collection and ‘Soundmirror’ installation by Matt Stokes. Participants will help to grow the the space into an enchanted musical greenhouse.

Weekends and Northumberland school holiday days, 12noon-3pm

Artwork by Bethan Maddocks with Sound design by Nick John Williams
