Leather Superhero Booties - review
Reviewed for What To Do With The Kids by
Amy Parker with Noah, 10 months old
Here at What To Do With The Kids we are big fans of Fabric Flavours' fabulous range of superhero clothes. The London-based company have recently released a new range of leather baby booties, with an applique of the Batman, Superman or Supergirl logos. They are made from environmentally-friendly, non-toxic dyes so they are safe little feet AND little mouths, and come in a clear gift bag.
We asked What To Do With The Kids reviewer Amy to try the Batman booties with Noah, who is ten months old and has only recently taken his first steps.
Is Fabric flavours a brand you are familiar with/would usually buy?
No, this is the first time we had heard of them.
Did you think the booties were a nice/practical design?
Yes, the booties are a fun design and are lovely soft leather. Perfect to protect delicate feet.
Were they a good fit?
The booties are aged 6 to 12 months. At almost 10 months Noah is fairly small for his age and there is plenty of room for growth without them falling off his feet. The elastic keeps them on well.
What was the quality like? Did they wear well?
The leather is lovely and soft including the sole but the elastic is quite thin so you have to be a little bit careful when you are putting them on your baby's feet. I think the leather will wear well.
Noah has just started walking so they will be perfect for protecting his feet.
Did Noah like them?
Definitely. He has been drawn to the colourful design and has been touching them lots.
Would you recommend the booties/the brand to others?
Yes. They would also make a great gift. I have a couple of friends who are having babies soon so I will recommend them.
Any other comments?
The booties are really cool and have attracted a lot of attention. Everyone wants to know where we got them from!
The superhero leather booties are available in sizes 6-12 months and 12-18 months priced at £16, from www.fabricflavours.com
