Echo Arena – Disney on Ice, Review.
Last Saturday night we took a mystery trip to Liverpool to see Disney On Ice presents Frozen at the Echo Arena.
We have never been the Echo Arena before and I couldn’t believe how fab the building was.
Liverpool has really up its culture offer over the last few years and this venue was no exception. The Ice element really adds to the show, we have seen lots of theatre shows with the girls over the last few years but never a show in a massive venue or on ice.
Seeing the Frozen tale was a nice change to the usually Christmas panto stories such as Cinderella, Jack and the bean Stork or Mother Goose. It was nice to see a story adapted that the kids really knew well, and that they could sing along. The cast encourage the audience to sing and dance along to inspiring songs including “Let It Go".
Hosted by Mickey and Minnie, with special appearances by beloved Disney Princesses and characters from all-time favorites like Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Disney’s The Lion King. Plus, warm up for the show and learn the snowman dance, during the Fit to Dance pre-show.
Which the kids are still singing!
The only downside to this was that candyfloss was £10 a bag and slushies’ started for £11 each….although you did get to keep a nice cup with the slushies’ and you got an Olaf mask with the candyfloss. I suggest saving your money and saving it for the big wheel on the way out – this would make a great night even better!
Evie and Poppy had a great time witht their Nan and Grandad and would totally recomend a trip to Liverpool Echo Arena!
"It was really good, Arial was cool and I loved Anna. It was real."
